Megan Olson - My name is Megan Olson and I am the Director for Little Victories Child Center. Just to give you a little history on me. I am from Spokane WA, my family and I just moved to Forest Lake this past May. My husband and I have two children; Kambell, 2 1/2 who attends Little Victories and Hayden, 5 who is in Kindergarten. I have been in the child care profession for most of my working life. Before leaving Spokane I was the Director of a full-day program for the last six years. I had also worked as a Pre-Kindergarten Teacher prior to that for four years. I love this ever changing, challenging and exciting profession. It is extremely rewarding to know that in some small way I am contributing to your child’s early childhood educational experience! In my spare time I love cooking, traveling and spending time with my family.
Jackee - Infant Teacher. Jackee has been working at Little Victories over a year now. Jackee has lots of Infant Room experience. Before being employed by Little Victories she worked in another center in their Infant Room for 4 1/2 years. Jackee is currently enrolled in college where she is earning her degree in Nursing. In Jackee’s spare time she enjoys shopping, school and boating. Her favorite childhood memory is spending time with her Dad. She also enjoyed camping with her Mom and Sister.
Nicole - Toddler/Preschool Teacher. Nicole has worked at Little Victories since January of ‚Äò08. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire, with a BA in Psychology. She worked at the University Child Center for 2 years with children ages 2-4 years. She is now in a Master’s Program for Teaching. In Nicole’s free time she likes to play volleyball, softball and tennis. She really enjoys hanging out with her family and friends. She also enjoys reading, going to the movies and shopping. Her favorite childhood memory is riding bikes and hula hooping with her brother and being the “Big Sister” when her little sister was born.
Alana - Lead Preschool Teacher. Alana has a Bachelors degree in Social work and she began her early childhood experience by working as a Family Resource Provider for the Head Start Program. She also taught the 4K program as a Lead teacher for 3 years. She is currently training for the Twin Citites Marathon and she enjoys scrapbooking, cooking and traveling. Her favorite childhood memory is attending Vacation Bible School with her siblings and friends…she still remembers all those songs!
Sara - Infant Teacher- Sara has been with Little Victories since June of ‚Äò08. Sara had lots of experience caring for children. She has worked at Trinity Family Center in Hudson WI in an infant and toddler room. She also does some substituting at St. Croix Center with all age groups. Sara even was a nanny of Infant Triplets in Montreal, Canada!! Some of Sara’s hobbies include; traveling, reading, sewing and spending time with family and friends. Her favorite childhood memory is getting her first kitten when she was 8 years old…and she still has her!
Kelsi - Preschool Teacher - Kelsi has been working at Little Victories since September of ‘08. She is a graduate of the University of Minnesota with a degree in Child Psychology. Kelsi has experience working with children as a camp counselor and has also been a nanny. In Kelsi’s free time she enjoys horseback riding, reading, camping and just about anything that has to do with the outdoors. Kelsi favorite childhood memory is when she was 5 years old and she received her first pony!
Susan - Toddler Teacher - Susan has been working at Little Victories for about a month now. She previously worked as a Nanny for a family and was a Teacher at a center in an Infant Program. She also has experience working with developmentally delayed children as a behavior specialist. In Susan’s free time she enjoys reading, swimming and movies! Susan’s favorite childhood memory is gong camping every summer and exploring many areas in Wisconsin and Michigan.
Kaitlin - Toddler Teacher -Kaitlin is our newest team member at Little Victories. Kaitlin earned her degree as a English and German major. She is currently Student Teaching at Oakdale Elementary in their ESL program. Kaitlin is new to childcare but is enjoying learning all about Early Childhood Education! In Kaitlin’s spare time she enjoys reading, traveling and writing. Her favorite childhood memory is dancing to Bob Dylan’s “Tangled up in Blue” with her dad when she was 4 years old
Michele works as a subsitutue teacher in our Preschool room. She has a Degree with a major in Mass Communications and a Minor in Sociology. She has extensive experience with preschool to school age children. She enjoys writing and going to the theatre. She is also a published author of a book called “Grab your Tiger”.
